Battery return and recycling
Don't throw old SLA batteries in the garbage! They contain lead and must be recycled to avoid poisoning the environment. Clients who purchase batteries from Lex Tec may return the old batteries for environmentally safe recycling. If your current battery supplier does not offer a safe way to recycle old batteries then home users will have to take them to a recycling center and business users will have to pay to recycled them. |

6 Volt Rechargeable Sealed Lead Acid Batteries |
Be sure to pick the right battery
1) Voltage: Check your old battery to determine if you need a 6V or 12V battery. The voltage must match exactly.
2) Capacity: Choose a battery with an Amp/Hour (Ah) rating that is similar to or larger than your old battery. Larger Ah capacity equals more runtime.
3) Dimensions: Pick a battery that has the same height, width, and length as your old battery to ensure proper fit.
4) Terminals: Make sure your new battery has the correct tabs (4.75mm or 6.35mm) or bolt holes (5.5mm or 8mm) to attach your equipment wires.
5) Recycle: Batteries contain harmful lead. Be sure to recycle your old battery. |
